As many weddings as we do, no two have ever been alike. Personalization of your wedding is so important. This can be achieved in any number of ways. One of our favorites is the family wedding photo table. We set up a table at the cocktail hour on which we place photos of the bride and grooms’ parents wedding, grandparents’ wedding and even great grandparents wedding photos. Beneath each picture is a card that tells the names of the people pictured and the year the photo took place. We have also had wedding veils, wedding dresses, garters, cake toppers and even century old handmade slips that were worn by relatives on their wedding day displayed.
Displaying these items at the cocktail hour gives your guests time to look at them and enjoy them before the reception officially starts. It is always a highlight of the cocktail hour
