Ok, listen up brides and grooms; there is a new event site available for weddings and receptions in Greer, SC. Today I had the opportunity to tour The Amazing Turner Inn with Chef Paul of Streetside Catering and his wife Charity Blumer. They were sweet enough to give us a personal tour of this “amazing” home turned event center.
If you are looking for the old Southern mansion, with majestic white columns and a grand staircase, this might be just the spot for you. While newly renovated back to its original grandeur the home contains little furniture on the main floor leaving plenty of room to turn it into your dream reception site. Hardwood floors, mural walls and crystal chandeliers make it a wonderful background for your traditional southern wedding. Indoors there is seating space available for around 80 guests, outside there is a large formal garden for either ceremony space or tented reception space if your need is greater.
Rental fees run from $1500 to $3000 depending on the package you choose. Streetside Catering is the caterer for all events. One added feature is the bride and groom can stay the night at the Inn in a honeymoon suite with a special breakfast served just for them the next morning.
