Now here is a change that I wish would become tradition. As you can see in the picture above this wonderful sweet priest, who happened to be the bride’s uncle, wanted the guests to be able to see the bride and groom’s face. So he chose to stand with his back to the congregation. This allowed everyone to see the bride and groom’s loving faces, rather than their backs. As beautiful as the back of the wedding dress is, I would much rather see the faces of the couple. This is a change to tradition that I agree with.
