Priceless

Ok, I am all about saving money. I preach it all the time and with weddings there are a lot of areas where you can save money. But, and this is a BIG but, there is one area that I say spend that money baby. Spend that money on your portrait bouquet.

I know you can borrow a bouquet from your photographer and save, or pick up a silk one at your DIY store, but don’t do it. Have your florist make you a portrait bouquet just like the one you will have on your wedding day (only slightly smaller). Yes, I know it’s going to cost you around a hundred dollars, but this is the perfect trial run for your wedding bouquet. This gives you the chance to make sure you and the florist are on the same wavelength. You actually get to see, smell and touch the item that for most brides, next to the dress, is the most important thing.

I have actually had to chase down florists because the bouquet the bride got on her wedding day was nothing like she was dreaming of. Don’t let this happen to you. With the portrait bouquet you will get the chance to know that you need to tell the florist to make the wedding bouquet a little larger, or smaller or whiter or more colorful and he will have more than a month to get it right.

Cost of a portrait bouquet - $100.00
Cost of a thrilled bride on her wedding day – priceless
